We stayed at Hilder's Farm Cottage CL for 6 days the week that campsites were allowed to re-open. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. The view across the reservoir was stunning and a joy to take in as I had my morning coffee! The site has enough facilities to make your stay comfortable. Levelling blocks are required as some of the site is on a slope. We visited the local pub, spent days geocaching with the dog and our son in the countryside and had a day out in Tunbridge Wells. The owners are more than happy to help out when needed as we found out when we needed to change our gas regulator, but had forgotten the spanner! COVID cleaning procedures were spot on, with owners disinfecting throughout the day and hand sanitiser provided at all common touchpoints. The site is large enough to play badminton and football with the kids or to have the dog chasing a ball on his long lead, even when at capacity. All in all, we were sad to leave and are looking forward to visiting again soon.
