Beautiful little site.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the May bank holiday weekend, easy to find, access was very good, large well kept field and very friendly owners, cows can be noisy the sheds are close by but to be honest I enjoyed this part of the countryside experience. Shower block on site very clean and pleasant to use. Sandbach just down the road lovely to walk around lots of nice pubs and restaurants. Overall a great stay highly recommended thank you will be back.

Tranquil in the aftermath of Storm Gareth

We arrived at the site shortly after Storm Gareth with strong winds and rain a feature of our stay. Our welcome was good and we were quickly shown to the field and advised where not to pitch. The field was quite wet in places but that was unsurprising given the amount of rain we had had the previous week. Access in and out of the site was straightforward even with our twin axle 26' caravan plus towcar. The facilities are excellent although if there were 5 'vans with 4 people in each they would be stretched. The field is well drained and level but inclined to be wet in the corners after significant rainfall. We had no problem moving the 'van to leave with a Landrover Discovery but our neighbour had to be towed out. A lovely site, nice walks along the canal to Middlewich or Sandbach, enough cycling in the area to keep you going for a few days and several National Trust properties within easy reach. Definitely a working farm, cows make a noise!

Great site.

We stayed for a few days on the way down from Scotland, and were very pleased we chose this site. Very friendly owner who is going to have a great site once the new facilities are up and running. It's a working farm so expect some noise, but hey if you go to farm site's that's what to expect. Definitely use again later this year. We loved our stay and can only thank Jill for her hospitality.

Ideal stop over near M6

Very prompt response to my enquiry for booking. I was told owners would be away the day we arrived and to put the money through their letterbox. Quiet site - rather wet day when we arrived and ground a little soft but we have a twin axle caravan and Landrover so all was OK for us. No WC here but as only stopping for one night this was fine. Cows in next field. Would come again for a travel stop over.

Hollins Green Farm

Lovely CL, well cared for, level and in a nice spot. We stayed here overnight on the way down from Scotland, not far from Sandbach and the M6 in pleasant rural Cheshire. Good value at £10 per night. Friendly welcome and communications, many thanks to the Jacksons! We would happily use again.

Just right

We used this site as a one night stop on our way North. It is convenient to reach from the motorway, level ground well cared for, neat and tidy. So turning up, setting up then moving on in the morning was easy. I think this spot is just right and will happily come here again.

Peaceful and lovely site

We spent four nights at this lovely site in October having booked so that we could visit the NW Food Festival at Tatton Park.  We were made very welcome and all the family were very friendly.  There are plenty of visitor attractions close by.  As Jill says they intend to carry on the work of her parents and are having some building work done which will include a shower for the CL.  This site is on our list to revisit when we next go to Cheshire.

Fantastic stop over

Found this wonderful site as we were heading from Perthshire to Dorset and wanted a half way stop near the m6.  Great site and so peaceful.  As previous reviews said, easy to find if using the directions given and not the dreaded satnav.  Will now be on our list for future stays.
