What a find!

What a find! We were on our way north and only booked in for one night - unfortunately It has got everything you want, quiet and peaceful, level so making it easy to pitch, the grass was cut and collected, and views to die for, just perfect. Don't be put off by the approach, you will not be disappointed. The owners were friendly and just wanted to please. We will certainly be using it again.

Can you keep a secret ?

A lovely tranquil site, with a spectacular view. Pete and Marlene are great hosts, and guarantee you a warm welcome. We live locally but find this a perfect site for an impromptu getaway. Make sure you visit this site, its one of the areas best kept secrets !!!

Unbelievable

We stopped off at this site a few weeks ago, unfortunately the owner wasn't available but his representative was helpful and polite, however this time just a day before August bank holiday we were the only campers on site, why I ask it has the most fantastic views ever, and a sky that went on forever, Peter was very helpful and full of local knowledge, of things to see and do, for goodness sake use this beautiful site before the owners decide its not worth the cost of maintaining a camp site and put sheep or cows on it

A gem of a CL site

We were on our way from "up north" to North Norfolk and decided to break our journey. We wanted a quiet spot close to our intended route. The owners both had to go out and left a welcoming note on the door. We were the only ones there and with a view to die for over the Trent Valley and what a sunset.  We met both Pete and Marlene the following morning and wished we could have stayed longer but we had booked a site for the next week. If we pass this way again we will definitely book longer.

A really lovely CL

What a lovely CL this is; very easy to get to from the main A roads and then a short distance along a very straight country road. The two terraces of the CL have super views over the Lincolnshire Cliff and for miles across the Trent Valley. The sun setting over the valley each evening was a glorious sight. The CL is very well maintained and peaceful and the owners very welcoming and friendly. The surrounding villages are worth a visit, especially Fulbeck with its Craft Centre and tea rooms. There are also plenty of footpaths nearby. If you want peace and quiet and great views then this is the place to go to.

Weekend getaway

As others have mentioned don't be put off by first impressions......the terraced area for caravans / motorhomes is superb with stunning views towards the Trent valley. Very friendly welcome, helpful advice for walking to Fulbeck itself ( except for the bull in the field where the footpath went!! ). Despite being local & already familiar with the area the Hare and Hounds in the village was superb, also the Manor Stables crafts is well worth a visit. A super find for a weekend getaway.

First Impressions Are Deceptive!!

The approach is somewhat off putting  but once in situ on the CL you will be amazed at the magnificent view towards the Trent valley. The site is very well kept & the owners friendly without being intrusive. Nearby is the quaint market town of Sleaford with supermarkets & restaurants.A little further afield is the delightful market town of Newark.Beautiful Belton House(Nat Trust) is also on the doorstep & Belton Garden Centre is well worth a visit.

A Place You'll Want to Return To

It is a pleasure to come to this site, and we've been 3 times now. The 2 terraces are lovely and spacious, and most importantly flat, and offer great views that you don't normally associate with Lincolnshire. The site is conveniently located close to the A1 but is in a rural location and it is only a mile to the nearby village with a good pub. It is easy to relax and unwind here and you will struggle to find a friendlier welcome than you will get from the owners Pete and Marlene.
