Peaceful site adjacent to village and broads

Helpful owners, peaceful site within a couple of minutes walk of village shop, pub and broads. We only stayed one night as we were touring but would happily have stayed longer.

Excellent CL

Have just returned home after spending 12 nights on this CL. So peaceful and quiet with plenty of room between units. Would highly recommend.

Peace & Quiet

If you like a really peaceful CL this is the one for you. It is a fine basic CL with EHU in a large paddock close to the farmhouse and adjacent to the small village of Thurne with it's small store and Pub - The Lion Inn. There is a by-way running past the site ideal for dog-walking and outside the farm drive is one of the Broads. It is an easy 2 mls to the site along a single track road with good clear views & plenty of passing places. There are many places of interest close by including Great Yarmouth, Caister, Norwich and many of the Broads. Would not hesitate to use this site again should we visit this area again.

Broads Delight

Excellent welcome, the field is very slightly sloping with a good all round edge about 6ft high. Basic toilet waste point, water supply good. Very quiet spot through the farm yard with excellent access to cl field. Approch road to village is by a single track with good passing points Local village just 2oo yards away. Excellent access to the broads and surrounding area. Would recomend a visit.

Very well kept C L.

Had 7 nights here end of June 13. Had a great time. The owner was really friendly and kept the field in first class condition. The lion inn is just around the corner and the boats moor up outside the pub every night. Plenty of walks for the dogs. And Potter Heigham and wroxham a short drive away. If we r ever in the area again would definitely use home farm again.

August weekend retreat.

We stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend, 2012. Arriving late Friday evening, we drove straight on the pitch, finding the camp site easily be hind the Lion pub. It is a very laid back cl site, electric hook ups are around the perimeter of the field, but there are no showers / wc. We have 4 spaniels and all the other caravaners had dogs, and they were welcome to play ball etc across the site. Very peacefully with fields all around and plenty of places to walk the dogs. We will be returning next year. Thank you Home farm for a lovely weekend. RH.
