Stayed for three nights in August and liked it so much that we decided to book another night as a stopover for our journey home later on in the month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, and the site is well laid out with plenty of shrubs and trees. It was fantastic to watch the red kite flying overhead - one flew right into the middle of the site one morning and grabbed something - I'm assuming a small rodent - then flew off again. The site is well situated for easy access to surrounding areas and is close to the Park and Ride for Oxford. The electricity meter didn't bother us - we just topped it up with a couple of pounds and that lasted us for the night we were there. We preferred the pitches nearer to the field as there was quite a lot of traffic noise from the road running past the site but it didn't disturb our sleep at all! If you are there over the weekend, don't miss the boot fair on Sunday - well worth a browse for bargains!
