Fantastic

I’ve not been to little meadows for a few months now. I arrived on site and set up. I was on my own as my partner was away so it was just the dog and myself. I forgot how relaxing this site is. Nice to see hares, squirrels and to hear the owls at night. I love this little site and being close to home is even better. The owners are so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go again! Thanks for a lovely relaxing stay 😊

Peaceful and well equipped site

Peaceful secluded site set well back from main road so very little traffic noise. Fully serviced grass pitches, fairly level with plenty of space. Very friendly and welcoming owners and easy access to M6, M55, Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland etc. Definitely somewhere we intend visiting regularly. Do not approach using Brabiner Lane as this is not suitable for caravans/large vehicles, access from M55 at Broughton through Whittingham is quick and straightforward.

Fabulous site

I stayed at Little Meadow on a Saturday without my partner. As a woman on her own I found it to feel really safe and very quiet. The pitches were fairly flat so I only had to go up my ramps on the lowest level. Each pitch has a tap, electric and grey waste disposal. The chemical toilet emptying point is at the bottom of the site through the hedge. We had heavy rain the night before but this didn’t spoil my stay, my van drove straight on and I got parked up very easy. The owner was so lovely too. I had the best sleep I’ve had for a very long time. I can’t wait to go again and take my partner so he can see what a fabulous little site this is. Thank you for brilliant stay Jackie

Good site good served pitch but very boggy

Very peaceful, pitches are fully serviced, very very boggy, all pitches are grass, no hard standing as on info 3 nch of standing water around most of the site. very difficult to position caravan due to boggyness, got car stuck. Should of pulled straight off and found a site that was accessible. Owners are very nice and welcoming and the weather is not their fault however pitches should have been checked and we should have been contacted before setting off. A dissapiinting muddy stay but is prob fantastic during longer dryer spells or with a little gravel down could be a real gem.

Spot on

This CL was spot on for us as it's halfway to Scotland with easy access from M6 (new road layout my satnav was not uptodate). A warm welcome with fresh cut grass on level pitch with water on tap and grey waste water at each point. Good value for money. A little bit of noise with it being a working farm but was not distracting. Possible to use in winter if willing to be flexible on pitching position. The owners have added thoughtful extras to make the stay more enjoyable. Will use again and hopefully stay longer.

What a little Gem!

We were looking for a local CL to take our Granddaughter for her first time in sleeping over in our caravan,(not too far in case she didn't like) it we could not have picked a more superb place . With fully serviced pitches on an enclosed area with landscaped trees all around with picnic benches it is a great place for anyone visiting trough of Bowland or the Fylde coast a great all year round CL a peaceful and well planned CL. we will be back very soon.

Superb CL

What a great CL this was, fully serviced grass pitches! And a bargain for £12 a night, so peaceful, and ideally situated for the Lake District , Blackpool and surrounding areas. Will definitely visit this gem of a site again.

The way to go

We have just returned from having 7 wonderful days at this outstanding site. I can only concur with the previous reviews, this site exceeds what you would normally expect from a CL, faultless in every way, immense value, friendly owners very helpful with ideas on places to visit and there are numerous areas for walking, sightseeing and stunning views, within a short distance and in every direction. would we visit again, have already booked for another week in July.
