Little gem 20 minutes from home

I really don’t want to do this because I want to be able to get booked in here whenever we want but I must highly recommend Little Norwood. It’s honestly the best CL we’ve stayed at and we’ve traveled from the West Country to Scotland. Barbara and Matty are so welcoming and helpful, the pitches are well kept with plenty of space , your own enclosed lawn with fruit trees, washing line, EHU and water supply. The whole site is well thought out with privacy and ease of access paramount . The elsan and bins are kept clean and tidy and are a short walk away from the pitches. A designated, enclosed dog walking area is on site as well as private access to the fields opposite. The welcome gift of eggs from their free range chickens make for a tasty breakfast. All in all a wonderful Coronation Weekend spent here. An added bonus to us is we only live 20 minutes away so it’s a definite that we will be frequent flyers. Thank you both for a wonderful stay .

Great CL

Congratulations to the owners for all their hardwork in opening a fantastic CL. The detail in the site is excellent, fully serviced pitches, good road network to the marked bays, dog walk area, even to a clothes line on each pitch. A very warm welcome on arrival and lovely walks. CL owners are not a charity and the amount of money spent establishing this CL must have been a lot of money, but the pitch fee is really reasonable and you only pay for what electricity you use ..... again another fantastic idea. The detail in plants, trees and hanging baskets shows the passion the owners have for extending a warm welcome to their home. The only noise disruption is the occasional cocka-doodle-doo. I hope to use this site many times over the years and look forward to seeing all the money invested in the plants, trees etc get fully established.

Best CL site we have stayed at, Carl & Jan

What a brilliant site, the owners matt & barb are very helpful and polite, we was greeted with eggs from there free range chickens, a very thoughtful thing to do. Electric and water on all pitches which are hardstanding and very well kept and looked after, they are still doing things to a already brilliant CL site to make it even better. They also have a lovely lake which you can fish on a day ticket and only people staying on the site are allowed to fish, which is great. This site you will return to again and again. Thank you Matt & Barb for a lovely site.

Quite & Peaceful

A lovely little site. Just had a very enjoyable quiet week away, despite the snow and rain Matt and Barbara, the owners, are extremely friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with eggs on a arrival, from the farms chooks, a lovely touch. Thank you, we will definitely be back Jan & Brian

Quality CL

Lovely CL that will get even better as new planting matures. Very friendly and helpful owners. Lots of wildlife and interesting (some surreal) walks from the site. Do try the eggs.

Fantastic CL!

What a great CL to visit as my first outing of the year! Couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome, great site (being upgraded while I was there, but still lovely), quiet, beautiful countryside and fabulous local pub grub (3 Tuns). Such a thoughtful extra to be given 6 freshly laid eggs too! Will definitely be returning, thank you!

Excellent CL

This was our first but definitely not out last stay at Little Norwood Farm. Lovely big pitches with their own water supply and washing lines. A fantastic welcome from Barb on our arrival and another later on to check everything was ok accompanied by a dozen free range eggs. Easy access to the M2 and M40 but make sure you approach from Bobbing village centre to makes things easy. Plenty to do all within an hour's drive. We only stayed for 3 nights but we could easily make it 5 next time.

Fantastic CL

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful CL site. Barb greeted us and was so helpful plus we were given a dozen new laid eggs. We have 2 small dogs so the fenced part for “dogs off lead” was great. But they also had walks through farmland to the lake and down the country lanes. It’s so easy to go anywhere in this part of Kent from the site. The site is so well kept with the luxury of water and EHU on each pitch. The pitches are large and which ever way you look is farmland. When it says a quiet site it means quiet, it’s so perfect. The sky at night is great too. Cant recommend this site enough.

A very welcoming site in a great location

We absolutely loved this site! The owners are so friendly and welcoming and make sure everything is ok. The dozen eggs was a nice gesture too. Each site is flat and like a service pitch which makes it very convenient. The journey was an easy one too with the site being only a few miles from the A249. We found so much to do in the area including a visit to historic Rochester, and the historic Chatham Docks visit was also so interesting - it took us two days to complete it. We also loved Faversham with its own Shepherd Neame brewery and pub near to the creek area. We also paid a visit to the Chart Gunpowder Mills which was in the centre of a housing estate but the volunteer manning the place on the Sunday was really interesting. Doddington Gardens in Faversham was also a great place to be in the hot weather providing lots of cooling shade. We stayed 8 days in all and had plenty to do each day.

Perfect piece of Kent country side

When we arrived Matt and Barb were out, but her father-in-law pointed us to our pitch and pointed out the CDP and dog walk, he advised us to dispose of the grey waste into the new hedging. Later Matt came round and checked we'd settled in OK, told us where the fishing lake was and where we could walk off-site with the dog, he also gave us some eggs for our breakfast which, as we enjoyed so much, we purchased a dozen to take home with us. It's a perfectly peaceful site with just the sound of wildlife to 'disturb' the peace. Pitches are perfectly level, so it's arrive, connect to electric and fill up your water tanks, each pitch has its own water tap so you could stay connected and have what is a serviced pitch. The pitch itself is large with fencing and young hedging which give the benefit of some privacy, once the hedging is more established it will be even better. The enclosed dog walk on site is large and great for letting the dog off the lead to chase her ball etc and run around. Would we go back? yes without any hesitation, we enjoyed our stay so much we booked in for the new year period. Being only 25 mins from home it will be one of our go to sites for a quick get away.
