Wonderful site with stunning views
We have just spent 2 nights on this marvellous find. Tucked away on the Lleyn Peninsula, the site has fantastic views over the countryside to Hell’s Mouth, a vast bay with sand. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly and although we had already been allocated a pitch on booking, we were offered a choice on arrival. The field is on a slight slope but very easy to level the unit taking advantage of the spectacular views. Basic toilet and shower block which appeared clean but we did not use. Easy access for water and toilet disposal but nowhere for a motorhome to drop grey waste if you don’t have a hose attached to your motorhome.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful and very peaceful apart from a brief visit to Abersoch which was very busy. (Wouldn’t suggest taking a large motorhome or caravan into the centre of the town but there is a big car park on the right just before the descent into the town - £5.00 all day.). We spent a day cycling round the peninsula which was surprising traffic free for the most part and a lovely way to explore the countryside.
Really enjoyed our stay and have marked this site as one to return to again and again.
