Exactly As Described

Easy to find, the chosen w/e saw storm Arwen arrive! Warm welcome from Miranda. Very blustery night, woke up to blizzards and snow, picturesque when blizzard stopped. A few minutes walk to the pub, very accommodating staff, drinks only but very busy with diners. Lovely location, resulting in a very relaxed w/e despite the weather, planning to return in the spring.

Beautiful CL site in middle of village

Fabulous CL site with great views over a valley. Site is in the middle of Cold Aston village <5 from the local pub. Plenty of space on site to stretch out as far as your elec lead allows, with no pitch restrictions. Slightly sloping site so levellers might be needed. Great to see chickens roaming free in yard on entrance. Friendly owner with easy booking & payment arrangements. We spotted a Little Owl, horses, bats, fox, rabbits, Stag, Doe & fawn in the valley and on the hills. Easy access to Bourton-on-the-water & surrounding areas but no shops in Cold Aston.

Fantastic CL. Perfect location for all the attractions. Great for access. Lovely views of surrounding countryside. Really easy booking in and payment procedures and water etc all within easy walking distance. Wonderful communications with the site owner, Miranda and no restriction on arrival times. We really enjoyed our week here and would defiantly return. Great value for money and just how a CL should be!

Perfect!

My dea of how a CL can be- no pitching restrictions, beautiful views, lots of space and a friendly owner! We had seen this site whilst staying at the nearby CMC site last year and decided to book for a New Year break. So glad we did! Beautiful area with great walking from the site and a good pub in the village. Thank you Miranda, we hope to return in the Spring.

Peaceful with wide open spaces

Very impressed with our first CL. Nice views, quiet neighbours (horses, sheep, pheasants and rabbits), lots of space. Easy walk to pub, <5 minutes. Didn’t meet the owner Miranda, but easy to reach by phone and very friendly. No arrival or departure time restrictions. £12 a night, with EHU. We’ll visit again!

Shabby-chic

We love this CL. Good open 'field' adjacent to farm with pleasant views all round situated in the middle of a charming Cotswold village. Helpful owner with no restrictions on arrival or departure and the practical instruction to water the weeds with the grey water sums up the venue really. Fresh eggs on sale in the village (if you are up early enough) and a pub within safe walking distance too.

Peace and beauty make this a wonderful CL

So peaceful with beautiful views over the valley, set in a large field surrounded by horses, sheep and chickens as well as plenty of wild life to spot. Charming Cotswold village with great pub. Many places of interest nearby as well as walks straight from the site. One of the best!
