A good CL. We knew the South Rhin well so decided to look at the other end of the peninsular which centres north and south from Stranraer. The site is fine and well looked after by Claire with good toillet and shower facility. Showers paid for by honesty box at £1 a time and £12 per night for pitch so its really £14 per night if you shower using facilities per night.This is a working farm and contracting business so it can be noisy as it was for us with silage being cut and brought in with noisy machinery well into the night and again early morning. No complaint from us as we are used to these things at home but townies looking for total peace should be aware.That said Claire and family are most welcoming and we had a a very relaxing few days. Spot on stay for ferries to Ireland as abour a 20 minute easy tow to terminals.
