Great site.

We stayed on the site in June 2015. Superb facilities and so well run. Will certainly book again as soon as possible.

Superb CL

This has to be the best maintained CL with excellent facilities. As previous reviews suggest the toilet and shower and kept in an immaculate condition. There is plenty of space between each hard standing each of which has electricity, water and grey water disposal as well as floodlight. The location is good for the Scottish Borders, Lake District and Kielder water and is only 15 minutes from Carlisle and the M6. A credit to the owners.

Brilliant site

We stayed here in July not long after getting our caravan. Only an hour from home it was ideal in every way. Toilet and shower were beautifully clean and located in a small log cabin on site. Lots of space, very well kept and beautiful area to explore. This was our first experience of a CL and hope they are all like this although think we may have stayed on the best first. Highly recommend and will be back.

Outstanding CL

What can we add to the glowing reviews below? We stayed for a week at the end of July but would happily have stayed longer if not en route north. This is the nicest CL we have ever stayed on in 43 years. We noticed the toilet paper folded to a point too! The daily visits from the hens, ducks and geese were a pleasure. A very enjoyable stay, thoroughly recommend this site.

A Great CL

Most things have already been said about this great CL, what a fantastic facility. Electricity, water and grey water disposal on each hard standing pitch. Toilet and shower facilities absolutely spotless with cleaning and new towels daily. Wifi is £1 per voucher which once activated lasts 12 hours and signal strength is excellent. This CL is a credit to Adel and Owen who have thought and worked very hard to make it what it is.

15 Nights at Low Moor Head

The Owners are very nice and helpful. They provide very clean and well maintained facilities. On arrival you are provided with 6 eggs by Adel the owner from her farm. The site has only 5 pitches and each is has its own power, water and waste water facility. The site is quite open though and is suspect to catching the winds at times. But in general could not fault this site (shame it rained for 15 days) and would recommend to anyone who would like to visit cumbria and southern Scotland areas.

Lovely countryside location

This was our first stay at Low Moor Head Farm and we weren't disappointed. Just a stone's throw from Gretna, set overlooking open countryside with lovely views.  All pitches are hardstanding, fully serviced and very well spaced apart.  Cars are parked at the side of the site.  The site and facilities are immaculately kept by Mrs Taylor who is a very friendly owner and even gives you her own free range eggs on arrival.  There is also a very useful information hut.  It's a shame we had to leave earlier than planned due to work but we are booked to return in August.

A Very Special CL

We have just returned from a fortnights stay at this fabulous CL. From the time we arrived until the time we left Mrs Taylor worked tirelessly to ensure the CL was in pristine condition for the benefit of her guests. LocalPlacesOfInterest and access to the CL was no problem even for our twin axle caravan. The hardstanding pitches are fully serviced and flat. There is a cabin with disabled access containing a scrupulously clean shower and toilet along with fresh flowers and towels plus a display of the numerous awards the CL has won since opening. It was also lovely to see (And hear!) the various farm animals including chickens, ducks and cats which roam free on the CL and the adjacent farm. An excellent CL and an owner who went to great lengths to make us feel most welcome - we will certainly be visiting again when we are next in the area.

A Cumbria Gem

The welcome was very friendly and informative, the site was pristine clean, pleasant and bright. The facilities were excellent with electricity, water and grey waste all on the pitch. The toilet and shower were scrupulously clean and pleasant and there was attention to detail everywhere even the toilet rolls were folded to a point. An excellent CL would not hesitate to visit again as it is ideally situated for excursions into the Scottish Borders with Gretna Green just a short drive away and also a great stop off point if going on for a tour of Scotland.

A little gem

Just returned from a weekend stay at this site. Everything was first class. The free half dozen eggs were a nice touch. Nice to have the animals surrounding the site.
