Ease of arrival/welcome

not very sure

When we arrived, it was rather a tight turn into the farm entrance. Its a very narrow turning and the drive is narrow with over hanging trees, not so good for the caravan roof. after driving through the farmyard, we were directed into the field for members. Again a bit tight but we were in. We could park more or less where we wanted and we chose to have our backs to the lane behind the farm. It is a very peaceful place, lovely views across the Warwickshire country side. This was however spoiled for us and another younger couple next to us. In the field were two other vans that were occupied permanently. there was a third but this was moved on Friday evening and placed in another field! At the top of the field but on the other side of the fence, a man was living in a van, hooked up to electricity in the field, several other vans were also hooked up from another field about 500 yrds away. Then we realised there were more vans in that field further over and the residents of this field were not very quiet when arriving or leaving. There were also a number of caravans that we thought were abandoned behind the sheds, only to find they too were occupied. It didn't make us feel comfortable at all. We are not snobs or have a fancy van or car, but it wasn't as we expected. When we left, we chose to leave by the back entrance road as it seemed safer. While getting ready to do this, new arrivals came and plugged in where the red van was connected. This was obviously unacceptable for the gent as he packed up and drove down the lane, to join the other lodgers in the other field!!! Most peculiar. For a cl site it is remote and quiet, just basic facilities but not for us. I don't feel I can recommend it at all, sorry
