Great first visit

This was our first ever caravan trip and this was great place to start. Firstly a thank you to Shane (who was looking after things for Mandy) who helped us set up when we arrived in the dark on a very wet and windy evening - it was really appreciated. The site is well maintained and plenty of space between the pitches. The toilets were fine but no soap and the floor could have done with a sweep up a bit but the shower was clean and really clean. Everyone we met was really friendly and helpful especially the recommendation to get Sunday lunch delivered to site from the local Anchor B&B was fantastic. A lovely hot Sunday Roast for only £6.95 delivered to your door - you can't go wrong. Would definitely stay here again.

A Very Relaxing Place To Stay

After several years of staying on a variety of club sites, this was our first use of a certified location and what a great introduction. In order to discover some of Lincolnshire's sights in just 5 days this proved to be a great choice of location. The coast with its attractions is easily accessible on one side but moreover the various trails up and across the Wolds are particularly attractive. Alford is a great town to wander around and provides your daily requirements. Mandy appeared as soon as we drove in and helped us to choose the best position to pitch. The site is very quiet and well maintained, adjacent to open fields and well equipped with a single toilet and adjacent shower block as well as a recycling and rubbish collection area. We had mixed weather but thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting out and relaxing when the sun arrived.

Had to add this on

Also whilst we were Mandys guests we needed to go into the village for supplies and having a motorhome and being pitched up we had to use our bikes. Mandy asked were we going on a bike ride, I replied we needed to go into the village for supplies, she instantly offered us her small works van to use which we accepted. Now that's customer service. Whenever we need a CL again near Alford Mandys will be our first choice. Thanks Mandys you are a star 😉

Lovely Little CL

We originally booked here for 2 nights but due to unforeseen circumstances we needed another night which was not a problem for Mandy. This is a well tended site and peace and quiet is in abundance plus the lovely starry nights (clouds allowing) as they is no light pollution here. Mandy is lovely and will help wherever she can. We even bought a few plants for when we return home.

beautiful peaceful site

stayed for a week during June. The site is well drained and has hard standings directly behind the garden centre. The approach road from Alford is narrow in places but accessible. Site is quiet and laid to lawns with nearby open water. Dog walks direct from site and sheep and rhea next to driveway. Ideally placed for visiting Lincolnshire attractions. Friendly host, Mandy is always on hand with help or information on local issues. Highly recommended

Peaceful break

Lovely relaxing week - a well run site with a very friendly owner who made us feel really 'at home'. Will definitely be paying another visit. Alford is a lovely little market town and just within easy striking distance of the seaside towns but with lots of lovely countryside walks from the site. A very convenient dog walk on site was very useful.

February Visit

Have spent a pleasant 5 nights here. The site has 2 hardstanding pitches as well as plenty of room on the grass. Access is easy, just off a minor road about 1.25 mls outside Alford, where there are the usual facilities of a small market town. The lane outside of the site is ideal for walking ones dog, as is the old railway line that runs behind the site. There are waymaked trails which lead into Alford and beyond for those who like a longer walk. The nearest NT house is Gunby Hall, about 8mls away, and Skegness and Lincolnshire's sandy beaches are close too.
