Should win CL of the year

My partner and myself have never left any reviews on any sites or CL’s we have stayed at, but feel after staying here we had to! The CL is very large with biggest pitches we have ever had, the grounds are immaculate with Pam the owners personal touch. The honesty shop is lovely don’t see many of them these days! Have to say that Pam and her family made us feel like part of their family, nothing at all was too much trouble for them. Pam even arranged a lift to and from the Bridgwater carnival, her son James even made us a decorated Halloween trolley to put our pumpkins on! They even put on a small fire work display for us! We definitely be back. So a HUGE thank you to Pam and family for everything you have done. Really looking forward to seeing you all soon, Paul Mart and the Prosecco team! Xx

Peacefull

Large field allowing for huge space to park. A toilet, wash basin, shower and washing up sink in a small static, along with a well stocked 'Honesty' shop. Llamas and alpacas in adjacent fields and nice walking. Good access to Somerset towns and coast. Owner, Pam, lovely. Follow Pam's directions to the site! Price needs to be updated on this website.

Best CL yet

What a find. We stayed here 1 night as it is convenient for our motorhome dealers at Highbridge and it is close, but not too close, to the M5. However, we will be back to spend some time here. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Pam and her son and the pitches are enormous and beautifully kept. Alpacas, ponies and llamas are all right on the site. There is a lovely BBQ garden house, a small very basic 'honesty' shop and simple toilets with shower. The whole place was charming. We read somewhere that it is only for small units but we are 8m and had no problems and there were a couple of twin axle caravans. We made the mistake of not reading the instructions on how to get there and ended up going down extremely narrow lanes but went out as directed with no problem. It really is impossible to fault this site if you like peace, beauty, friendliness....and animals.

Wonderful caravan site

This caravan site is a little gem, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Pam and her family. The site is well maintained and having alpacas, lamas and a pony on the site just made our stay one of the best we have ever had. The site is ideally situated for the M5 and many places of interest. We would diffentatley recomend this site, you will not be sorry if you manage to book a pitch, just a wonderful experience thank you Pam x

The best CL I've stayed at so far

Stayed here in June as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall, as we are from Cambridgeshire and we felt it says to far to travel down to Cornwall in one hit. Put the destination into Google maps and it took us right to the gate and when we arrived it was just amazing. The way the Owner Pam looks after this place is a credit to her. The site in my opinion is second to none and I've stayed at a few CL sites, all of which have been lovely but this one is a cut above the rest. It has a shower which there is a small charge of a pound to use, a toilet, an honesty shop which is well stocked with all the essentials, loads of info about things to do and see, and books to borrow if you want a read. Pam also has lamas, alpacas, ponies and chickens. The CL itself is very large and there is loads of space between you and your nearest neighbour. If you have dogs there is a good dog walk and poo bin provided. The hard work that goes into running this CL is plain to see and I will certainly be coming to this CL for what I hope is many more years to come.

Quirky, tranquil and just what we needed

With a family reunion bash just south of Bridgwater, we needed a site for three nights. We did not need all the trimmings of a large site so this was just what was required. Some narrow roads on the approach but nothing too daunting and then a very warm welcome from Pam, oozing enthusiasm and humour. We loved the 'deep in the country' feel to the place even though we were only a couple of miles from the Bridgwater. Not every site has alpacas in the field next door but this one did. We used the honesty shop (very fresh eggs at 25p a crack) and the shower/loo in the portacabin (£1). Wonderful nights of sleep in the perfect calm. Thanks to Pam for your devotion to this site and for making us feel so welcome.

What a find definitely will return soon!

We visited over a bank holiday weekend and was very lucky to a space and thank god we did As the site was lovely. Pam the owner is very accommodating and nothing seems like to much trouble. She really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. There has been a lot of thought gone into the site layout and function and it works perfectly in our eyes. There was me my wife and my eight year old boy and he loved it Especially watching the Alpacas and horses in the field behind. Also on site is a brilliant little honesty shop full of all the essentials you may need or have forgotten and fresh eggs from the farm daily. There is also a toilet and shower on site and kept nice and clean, toilet roll supplied and towels changed daily. Very nice and quiet and peaceful. well keeped site with every thing you need and more. Pitches are level and good amount of room around them and grass kept nice and short. Good Access in from the main road and well sign posted down the lane. Only a stones throw away from from all the local attractions. I must add all the staff we’re very chatty and friendly to us always said hello and asked how we were. To Summarise great site and would recommend to any body, couldn’t ask for more from a cl site. We will Definitely be returning in August this year. Thanks for a brilliant stay manor farm Rob, Sarah and josh :-)

What a Gem

Arrieved on the site to be welcomed by Pam the owner very helpfull, the pitch is flat and the views are great, Toilets and shower are all clean and tidy. The small honesty shop that Pam provides is first class with fresh eggs for sale from the chickens which are roaming around the farm next door. there are a number of garden ornaments around the site which are charming and amusing Don;t want to say too much as it would take away the supprise when you come to visit this site. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place to come, but also you are not far from some great towns and resorts to visit. Very rare that I give reviews but the site definatly deserves a great review. Thanks for the enjoyable visit. Peter & Denise

Peaceful haven

Visited this site to attend the Bridgewater carnival, a must see event. The carnival has been going since the 1830's and is fantastic . The site is lovely and peaceful. Pam has put so much effort and imaginative into making it beautiful. The quirky little ornaments, gypsy caravans, barbecue hut, alpacas etc. plus the numerous species of wild birds who visit make it a wonderful place to be. Pam makes you so welcome that you feel like you've known her for years and nothing is too much trouble. She even arranged a lift into town and back for the carnival so we didn't have to worry about driving and parking (thank you to Paul who drove us and picked us up late at night) . Wonderful site to visit. Thanks Pam and Paul.
