Shame we couldn't stay longer

Easy to find, last mile has it's challenges if you have an 8ft caravan and you meet farm vehicles. So go slowly and you're fine. Met by lovely owner who explained recycling policy, gave you an information folder and showed you the whereabouts of facilities. Site well maintained and very pretty. Good flat pitches not too hard to insert awning pegs. A bit tight on width if you have large 4x4, 8ft van and awning. Great having water and electric to every pitch and waste just fed into surrounding grass (as instructed). The picnic table to every pitch was a great addition. Could imagine it would be lovely to sit outside on a sunny day however Wales in September is more rain than sun. Visited Tenby, St David's and Pembroke Castle. Site well situated to visit west, North and south. Unfortunately we could only book for 5 nights. Would definitely book again if we were in the area.

A beautiful CL with fantastic facilities

We decided to stay at this beautiful CL after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed. It's in a great location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, toilets and shower are immaculate , owners are friendly and helpful . It's one of the best CL we have stayed on .

Perfect CL

Stayed here for 10 nights for our first visit to Pembrokeshire. What a brilliant beautiful site. You can park your van overlooking the fields and watch the wildlife and horses. The electric shower is perfect ( and spotless) after a day exploring the coast and surrounding areas. There's a pub next door but there was no noise so we weren't disturbed at all. The lane off the A40 was fine. It is a main through road to the A40 so you just need to go slowly and there is a hump back bridge but you can see any oncoming traffic. All in all it's a CL we would definitely recommend so get booking 🌞

Great CL site

We had a lovely week on this beautiful, well maintained cl site. A warm welcome at arrival and the information map was really helpfull. As stated in the other reviews: toilet and shower spotlessly clean! This was our first visit to the Pembrokeshire Coast and we especially loved the coast. Our cruise to Skomer Island was one of the best days ever! All those puffins, it was amazing. St. Davids: beautiful cathedral and the cafe Mamgu a real treat. We as Dutch of course had our bikes with us and we really enjoyed a cycle trip from St. David's to Porthgain, where we had a nice lunch at the Sloop Inn. Haverfordwest was only convenient for us for the supermarkets. We have never ever seen such a large Tesco! Apart from the warm welcome at arrival, there was no contact with the owners during our stay, which we thought was a pitty. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend this CL site! Melanie & Michiel

Lovely first visit to Pembrokeshire

We booked Marylands for our first trip to Pembrokeshire after seeing good reviews and recommendations, which all lived up to - and exceeded our expectations. Immaculate site, well tended grass, shrubs and secure dog exercise area. On site WC and Shower Room absolutely spotless, and site in a lovely sunny position, complete with welsh ponies in the adjacent pasture. Convenient location just outside Haverfordwest and close to beautiful coastline and pretty scenery, villages etc. Full marks to Mr & Mrs Chilvers for running such a lovely CL!

Great Stay

This is a fantastic site. I’d like to think that if I ran my own cl it would be like Marylands. From the welcome which included a book full of walks to the beautifully kept grass and gardens it is faultless. The dog walk is safe and well kept and the shower room and toilets faultless. We will come again!!

Our perfect type of CL!

Stayed here for 7 night’s in February after the CL had been recommended to us & what a find! Access road to the CL was fine & direction’s were accurate, we were given a warm welcome from Jane & a thick information pack with lot’s to do in the local area. The fully serviced pitches were super large, separated by shrub’s & each had a picnic table, we had a pitch overlooking the field with 4 horse’s! The separate wc & room with a further wc & shower were always spotlessly clean, there is a pub within easy walking distance which presently only serves drink’s, you need to book early but we will definitely be back as it ticked all the boxes for us!

Back again….

I was very lucky after emailing Jane for any availability to get in on a cancellation for early August. After last years visit I was keen to come back this year but in a different month. This time having a week. Jane & Ray maintain the standards they have already set and nothing was a disappointment. The size and quality of the pitches, the attention to detail to all aspects of the site and the facilities, as well as their relaxed and friendly nature. This visit I was able to get out and about more, to explore part of this glorious area of Wales. Once again, these trips were enhanced with some “top tips” from both Jane & Ray. My dogs were very grateful for the tip of going to the Haverfordwest Cricket Club & Racecourse walk, which was enjoyed on more than one occasion. The pub next door, now has its new owners in situ and the development plans are underway. As Jane explained, food is being introduced slowly to make sure that standards being set can be kept for the longer term. A short walk to the pub is always available for a “Swift pint or 2” of course. Once again, thanks Jane & Ray are a very enjoyable stay…..look forward to seeing you again in 2024 👍

Without doubt one of very best CLs available.

We found "Marylands" by accident as they were advertising a rare cancellation. We're so glad we did, as it's probably the best CL we've ever been to. Good hardstanding pitches, each with picnic bench and cultivated borders. EHU and water to each pitch. A beautifully presented bathroom with two toilets and one luxury shower. Half an hour to Picton Castle and a lovely traditional harbour at Solva. Great value at £25 per night. Do be aware that they're heavily booked, but worth it.
