We just used this site as a stop-over enroute to Scotland on the Friday evening. We were lucky to get in as we rang up as we were approaching the area. The lady we spoke to wasn't able to meet us at the CL - but we were given clear instructions as to where to find it and we were also given the combination of the lock on the gate so as to gain access to the livery yard. We were advised to leave our payment in the secure payment box in the little wooden cabin - which we did. We cannot comment further really on the site - it served its purpose for us. It wasn't a particularly large site - somewhat "cosy" - so not sure whether outfits stay for any length of time would get an awning up. We certainly wouldn't be able to use our awning on our motorhome. It was safe and quiet though, which was the main thing. Due to covid restrictions the pool table was out of bounds. Hand sanitisers were fitted on the wall of the cabin - and also at the "service" area.
