Location location.....

Ease of booking via email to the welcome and excellently friendly without being intrusive hosts and to cap it all excellent location close to Merseyside and Chester. The ease of access does mean that it is on a main road close to the motorway but this noise is the only compromise. The will we be back test - YES.

One Stop Shop!

This is ALWAYS our first port of call whenever we want a quick break away. Really easy to find just off the main Junction so no winding roads to navigate. 10 minutes from Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet so great for shopping. The Blue Planet Aquarium if its raining, Chester Zoo 15 mins if its not. Animals are great to watch, chickens wonder freely around the caravans aswell as their pen. Fresh as they come eggs available. Phil and Jo could not be any more welcoming. Its a real home from home for us and the Children, they love just being able to run around. Earplugs are a must for me due to the road noise at night as there is a main delivery depot for Aldi just down the road and the cockerel in the morning :-) But this is not a major factor as can be easily overlooked due to the location and quality of the owners! Great Site.

An (a)llamaingly good site

Well what a surprise, I have now found a decent CL in this area. LocalPlacesOfInterest spot on, Super owners, handy for Manchester, Chester and North Wales. I know I've knocked it down for peace and tranquility but that was because of the nearby road, which after the AM & PM rush hour went nice and quiet. Owners really friendly and knowledgeable about the area and obviously love there animals. (Llamas were cool if not a little spooky watching you put up the awning). Felt relaxed and secure, we will be back.

The Rooster...

Needed somewhere as a base to attend the Open Golf Championship at Hoylake and thanks to a cancellation this was the place for me.  Ideally situated for both my needs and for anyone visiting Chester or Liverpool. Very accommodating and friendly hosts together with their menagerie including the rooster with his wake up call! Level site and plenty of room, love the pitch allocation board at the gate. Some traffic noise from the road but not too intrusive. Recommended.

And lots of animals as well

Had a really nice 2 days on this site. Very handy for Chester and around. Easy to get on to and the hosts were very welcoming. On site they have  Alpacas, goats, chickens and ducks. The site is level and easy to get on and off.  It is on fairly busy road, but that made it even easier to get in and out of, very accommodating hosts, with a wealth of knowledge about where to park etc.  We had just picked up a new motorhome from a local dealer and the hosts let us drive around the site practicing as we were the only visitors that day !  Great fun.

Good site

HappyDidn't know what to expect when I booked and stayed last weekend 16/5/14.Had a lovely welcome from the owner when arrived. A small field with usual amenities. Around the site was a menagerie of animals, chickens, goats, ducks, turkeys and best of all Alpacas. We were invited to feed the Alpacas later that night fantastic! It was fairly quiet but you could hear the traffic from the nearby road. This didn't distract from the site and would definitely stay again as it was ideal for us to go to Liverpool to do the Beatles tour etc. Also near to Chester.
