Friendly, relaxed site

Millway Farm C L site is clean and tidy, functional and well thought out. All pitches are hard standing and supplied with electrical hook-up. Drinking water and recycling facilities are nearby whilst waste disposal is catered for at the farmhouse 40m away. The toilet is attached to the farmhouse but is accessible 24/7. Hot water is provided via a very efficient Redring heater. The farm shop sells superb (and very reasonable priced) homemade jams and chutneys, along with eggs, vegetables, and often a few homemade cakes and biscuits also. There is a great variety of things to do in the area, including a number of walks from the site. Bus numbers 77 & 55 stop nearby and run services to Wells, Taunton and Yeovil. We have been visiting for several short breaks a year since 2012 and, over that time, have had to call on their help in all kinds of ways. It is difficult to imagine a more cheerful and accommodating family as the Wrights who run Millway Farm C L site. They are a very relaxed family and nothing ever appears to be too much trouble. The ‘under new ownership’ is academic really; it simply being a transfer of responsibility within the family.

A site to revisit

Spent a lovely 4 days on this relaxing CL. Owners very helpful, site clean and well kept. Farm shop had lovely fresh produce. Also very handy for visiting Clarke's Village in Street. Will definitely be using this site again.

Great Site

We have just spent Easter week at this site and very nice it was too. We had a really warm and informative welcome from Mrs Wright. This is a really lovely little site on a working farm. All pitches are on hardstanding and with nice views over the farmland with plenty of wildlife, Birds, Hare, etc, all seen from the comfort of our Caravan. The facilities on site are good and well kept, and the little Farm shop sells locally produced eggs, jams and chutneys. A well kept site all around, that we will be visiting again.

One night was not enough

Stayed here for just one night mid July en-route to Plymouth ferry. Friendly welcome was and directed to flat hard standing with electricity. Waste, water and recycling ideally placed. Lovely views over open fields and perfect dog exercise fields adjacent to site. Easy access on and off site. One of the cheapest and best.We will return to this lovely site and spend a bit more time.
