Perfect for the weekend

Perfect location for visiting Stratford. spent the weekend here, our 1st time out in our 1st Caravan and it was great. The only down side is the main road is very busy if you are a light sleeper you will hear it as I did. but everything else was perfect clean showers & toilet room

Best Place in Warwickshire

Very easy to find and access with well spaced out pitches lovely greeting on arrival plus two sheds with lots of information on the area. Great washing and toilet facilities one wet room and two separate toilets. Must mention The New Inn great place for eating out and very good prices. Park and ride about a mile away at Waitrose we paid £1.70 into Stratford return in May. Loads of places to visit by car within an hour i.e. Warwick Castle (quite expensive though) and a lot of National Trust houses etc.

First visit

This was our first visit to this site for May Day Bank Holiday week. It was extremely easy to find - Sat Nav took us right there and the owners are extremely welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though the weather wasn't brilliant. In fact we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again for the August Bank Holiday weekend. There is a small amount of traffic noise from the road although this doesn't really cause any problems. Highly recommend this site.

1st of Many visits ..

Another CL to add to our list that we will be returning too.. Altho I do get the impression it is full most weekends so booking is advisable in advance. The CL field is mowed and kept really nice.. There are five hard standing for those who prefer but we do like the grass under our steadies... Altho we do go out all year so we will probabaly jump on to a hard standing in the winter.. As other reviews there are toilet and a shower but it is irrelevant to us we use our vans facility.. Bins provided, TV signal good.. O2 signal good Altho 02 3G is not.. But we used our EE box and got 4g... Water quality Good. Disposal facility is good with a tap too. All in all a a great rounded quality CL..

Spring Weekend

Had a warm welcome at this spacious, pleasant site. Very convenient for Stratford on Avon. Lovely walk across fields and along riverside to Clifford Chambers, and a chance for the dogs to have a run around and a swim in the river. Some road noise but it didn't bother us. Shower/toilet block unheated which made showering on a cold March morning rather bracing!

A WINTER WEEKEND

A lovely site on a working farm, a warm welcome and excellent facilities. There is a little road noise, but it is not intrusive, you will need an extra long hook-up lead if you use one of the hardstandings.  A site that have no hesitation in recommending to other club members.

Welcoming Site

Nice site for an autumn visit and great welcome from the owners. Interesting farm CL with other pitches (non Caravan Club CL,) behind the farm buildings. Maybe could do with more hardstandings to help contain the November wet brought into the van from the grass but that's being picky. Shame the CL is not located behind the farm buildings where the Rally field is as the road noise is less and the views are more open. I meant to ask if I could have pitched there anyway but forgot.

very nice

We were new to caravanning, the owner managed to fit us in for a bank holiday (2 nights) on arrival the owners were very welcoming, and full of information and maps there is also a nice hut with local produce in. The pitch we chose was on grass the field was well looked after and we wasn't crowded in anyway and close to stratford and local areas , we will definitely be going again.

Lovely overnight stay

Just a quick overnight stay after a day sight seeing in Stratford-upon-Avon. We phoned ahead on the day (bank holiday weekend) and we were happy that they could accommodate us. The site was well signposted and lots of onsite signage where to report to and were all the facilities were. Owners we very welcoming and friendly, the hand-out leaflet was very informative as was the little information hut with all the tourist info in. The site is very well kept and the grass is short, and hard standing was available. Nice local produce for sell cakes honey and jam. Unfortunately UK bank holiday weather made our minds up to up sticks and go home, but we will certainly consider returning. There is a footpath to the village which we would have explored had the weather been kinder.
