Very friendly site

Stayed here due to having lots of work done to our house, so local to the area. Plenty of sites to choose from and picked this one due to the price and serviced pitch, not worried about toilets/showers etc. What an excellent choice! Very friendly owners, everyone we spoke to were all very nice and helpful. We ended up having to change our plans a few times, and had a very pleasant 4 week stay, again helped out by the owners. You do get a bit of tractor noise in the morning, but not an issue, and you're in the countryside so what would you expect! Nice to sit in a very spacious field watching the Swallows, Swifts and birds of prey, on a warm evening. Though we also had a very wet spell, so it's good that it's well drained! Loads to see and do in the area, Skeggy only a short drive away, Boston the opposite way worth a visit if only for "The Stump" and some good places to eat and drink. The Wildlife park, Belton House, Gunby Hall and Burghley House all well worth a visit.

Perfect CL

What a wonderful site this is. All the pitches are south facing and so peaceful and quiet. Being fully serviced is bonus. John was so welcoming and gave us a fascinating insight to farm life in the vegetable basket of this part of Lincolnshire. We will definitely return.

Great to have a fully serviced pitch.

The site is lovely and spacious with some amazing trees and a nice outlook. We loved having the fully serviced pitch and felt it was a luxury! We weren't so keen on the area as we like to walk public footpaths through fields and countryside but there wasn't any to walk so we had to mostly walk roads. Had hoped to ask the site owners about local walks but didn't see anyone for the duration of our stay. Good access to surrounding places of interest, Skegness, Boston etc. Co-op and Costcutter near by. Had a very nice Indian from the local takeaway, Wrangle Spice. Tried to visit The Angel pub but on opening the door an alsatian dog came rushing out growling and barking, going for our dogs and the owner said "You don't just open the door of a pub" !? to say we were taken aback is an understatement. We did not return! All-in-all a really nice site but the area was not for us.

Lovely site

Had a 2 night stay. What a gem, we have stayed at many CL's and for the price this is a great place. Can recommend the local pub, and bus stop is only a 10 minutes walk.

Well worth a visit

Just returned from a weeks’ stay at New Farm; our first visit to this CL and what a little gem it proved to be. The warm welcome was appreciated and within a short time we were settled on to our grass ‘super pitch’. Well sheltered by the tall trees, this site is level and spacious, and the grass is kept short. As advertised, it’s a working farm set in an agricultural region so expect to hear the sound of tractors, farm machinery and other vehicles moving around nearby. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes we did. Will we be returning? Almost certainly.

A nice quiet hideaway

A spacious site with good sized pitches. Easy access but far enough off main road to avoid traffic noise. Occasional passing tractors, but that is only to be expected on a working farm. Site is clean and tidy. Good value, especially for fully serviced pitches. A good area for walking and birdwatching. The town of Boston is heavily congested and best avoided especially at peak times.

A Little Lincolnshire Gem

We stayed at New Farms Holiday CL between the 16th & 18th of April. This was our first trip out this year after lockdown restrictions were eased. What a wonderful Gem this site is. Spacious wonderful surroundings, plenty of space between pitches, all fully serviced. We received a very warm welcome from one of the owners making sure we had everything we needed. We did venture out and explore but we didn't really need to this site was ideal to just chill and relax. Our 5 year old daughter was shown around the barns an introduced to all the animals. She loved it. We can highley recommend this site.

Middle of the road

We stayed at the start of September 2020. Nice and easy to find the CL down a small side road of the main road, and nice easy access into the site. The site is situated on a good sized plot with fully serviced plots. Our welcome was non-existent and throughout our stay we didn't see anybody, which was a surprise given the reviews noting positive welcomes! We had to e-mail to get bank details to actually pay for our stay! Unfortunately it wasn't the quietest site, perhaps because harvest was in full swing, but being woken up by tractors and lorries most mornings at 5am didn't help with the R&R! Appreciate it is a working farm but we have stayed on others in the past none as noisy as this site. Decent access to Skegness only 20-25 minutes away, and a nice beach at Chapel St Leonards. There is also a lovely walk at Hubbard Hill. The Indian takeaway at the end of the road Wrangle Spice is very good. There is also a Co-op two minutes away heading towards Boston on the main road. Sadly for us we won't be returning to this site.

A Peace and Quiet Site

Arrived just as the last of the grass was being cut. Site layout with fully serviced pitches was most welcome after a long journey. Easy access to the field and no hassle with siting the van to suit our view of the area. Good to find re-cycling the order of the day. Very friendly host who was most helpful with information of the area. Certainly one to go back to if ever in the area again.

Quiet and spacious site

A quiet site in a very spacious field with trees providing shade should you need it. Grass had been cut and everything was very clean and tidy. Easily accessible from the main road but no traffic noise. Tap, hook up and grey water disposal for each pitch. No more than a ten minute walk to the village shop which seemed to be very well stocked. There are also at least two pubs in Wrangle but didn't visit. Fields full of cabbages surround the area but nice and flat for easy and relaxed cycling. The site was about twenty minutes from Boston and twenty five from Skegness which we had to go into to access Gibraltar Point, the nature reserve, which was definitely worth a visit. Very good views across the Wash to Hunstanton in Norfolk. A good site to stay at with a welcoming and pleasant owner.
