The first and most important thing is access and this is excellent. Directly off an A road with an easy turn in from the Axminster direction. You proceed through a concrete farmyard to the field with the pitches. There is a slight drop to the grass and the field is a little bumpy with slightly long grass but this means no grass treading into the caravan. This is the most level field I have ever pitched on and had to do no levelling whatsoever. The hookup is nearby and every pitch has lovely views of rolling hills. This could be improved by cutting the hedge behind the caravans to give views both ways. The site is quiet with only slight road noise and the inevitable sounds of a working farm. There is a tap for water nearby but the toilet waste disposal is quite a long walk to the farmyard and is a bit crude but works. We stayed 3 nights and then added another night before moving on as the surrounding area is lovely. The owners are friendly whilst busy running the farm. This is a basic site but with everything you need if you have a fully equipped caravan and is fantastic value at £9 per night including electric hookup in an area of outstanding natural beauty
