Perfect Site

Perfect site for us. Neil, the owner, is a lovely, helpful gent. Easy access into a lovely, well cared for garden site with a bus stop at the end of the lane. The elsan point is the best we have come across in 50 years of camping!! This is a site we will return to many times.

Delightful CL

We stayed here for 3 nights in early August and can identify with all the previous positive comments. The grounds are immaculate and it was lovely to have a stroll around the gardens and adjoining land in the evening. We chose this site as an ideal location to visit Conwy Castle and Llandudno. We walked 2 miles to the Castle ( you can catch a bus at the bottom of the road ) and also caught a bus to LLandudno. Neil is very helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend this CL to anyone.

Absolutely beautiful

This is one of the nicest sites we have stayed at. The grounds are immaculate, the pitches are a generous size and the location is perfect. The owner is a real gentleman, helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, extremely welcoming. Good base to visit the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend.

A gem of a site

What a lovely little site. Neil the proprietor is very friendly and approachable. Has two adorable pointer dogs whom were very friendly. The younger kept paying us a visit at our van. The site itself is surrounded by a myriad of different plants, it’s like being in your own secret garden! Great adjoining paddock to walk/run your four legged camper friend. No facilities so you’ll need to use your on board shower/toilet. fresh water tap and separate CEP disposal point. The bin seems to be on an endless loop of being empties as whenever I went to put the rubbish in the bin had been emptied and a new clean bin bag put in it’s place. Recycling bin also there. Wonderful cooking apple free and plum tree in Neil’s garden which he’s happy to let you pick if you ask. Five hard standing pitches with EHU and I think five grass pitches again with EHU. No tv booster point but my onboard aerial picked up the basic channels but who’s there to watch tele! Ideally set for Llandudno and surrounding areas. The A55 expressway is a short distance away which is busy day and night. You can hear the gentle hum of traffic but that didn’t bother me as you get used to it being in the distance, also I always wear earplugs at night so no issue. I would highly recommend this site but shhhh I’ve not said that as I want to keep this little gem to myself haha. Thanks Neil you have a beautiful site. , will certainly be back to stay again.

Lovely CL for visiting Llandudno, Conwy , Bodnant gardens and lots more

We arrived to a warm welcome and offered to pitch where we preferred . There are 5 hardstanding pitches and if preferred about the same number of grass pitches. When we went the weather had been dry and the ground was firm. Clean and easy to use facilities. There is a on site dog field , well 2 fields that was very pleasant- the owner has mowed paths through the grass ,and our dog loved it . The site is well placed for access to the many local attractions and not far from the A55 . There is some road noise but it wasn't at all significant. Will be back when we visit this area again.

A great CL

We enjoyed every moment of our two week stay which started with a friendly welcome from Mr Butleigh-Jones. We will definitely be back again. Although new as a CL this is a mature, well looked after site offering a choice of quality hard standings or grass all spaciously laid out. The owner regularly checked everything was OK. The final approach road is up a short, narrow hill (but breathe in and you'll be ok!) Observing the arrival and departure times is a must. The dog walk is around an adjacent field. We enjoyed walking around it although we do not have a dog. The elsan point was straight forward to use – and better than many we have encountered on other CL’s. We used the local taxi service on a couple of occasions and they were welcoming and friendly. A great location to get around the many places of interest in the area. Now on our top favourite places to visit.
