When we arrived there were three campers trying to find where they need to be - signage was virtually non-existent and the owner would not come out and help us. Luckily a fellow camper invited us to camp next to him. The following day the owner came and told us off for being in the wrong place and our intended site was an appalling patch of churned up mud next to some hay bales between two farm tracks. On closer examination it was strewn with dog poo (their delightful dog is allowed to roam) One poor campervan was made to park amongst a graveyard of old farm machinery. It turned out the actual CL site was in an adjacent field but because she was full she put us elsewhere. The walk in to Wells is super and about 2.5miles one way.
