Peaceful and relaxing site

This site was perfect for our first trip away in our new caravan. It is an enormous level field with EHU and you are able to pitch wherever you want. We had a lovely welcome from Sue and Peter and Sue went out of her way to locate us a gas cylinder when the dealer we bought our van from was unable to provide one. The warm scones that were delivered to our van once we had set up were an added bonus. There is a well-stocked information room with an honesty box and lots of useful items for sale that you may need. The fresh eggs are highly recommended, and we had twice daily visits from Henny Penny who would eat out of our hand, much to the consternation of our terrier! This is definitely a site on our list that we would love to return to.

Lovely peaceful site - a great find

Just spent three nights at Northolme Farm with other family members to basically ‘show them the ropes’ as they are new to caravanning. This is the first time we have used a CL and we all agreed it was a great find. Sue and Pete are very welcoming and friendly, and we received freshly made scones with jam and cream after we had got set up. They were delicious! The site has only been open since last year and it was good to hear Sue and Pete’s vision for the future. Site is very peaceful and pitches are very well spaced out. Toilet is very clean, plenty of hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes and disposable gloves at the communal areas. There are free range chickens who enjoy coming to say hello and their eggs are available to buy in the honesty shop. There are also a few goats and sheep. Lovely walks nearby. We will definitely return, hopefully coinciding with one of the monthly pop-up tea rooms to sample some more of Sue’s baking.

Peaceful bliss

Wow, if like us you spend hours searching for that adult only, peaceful and relaxing CL with all the amenities you need, look no further than this CL if you’re planning to visit this area, Sue and Pete are very welcoming and laid back, (homemade warm scones with jam n cream beautifully presented) was a massive hit for us after the drive, they couldn’t have been more helpful especially when we Had a malfunction with our EHU cable. The approach is easy, the field set at the back off this stunning farm house, the field is huge, lots of space even when full, great 16amp hook up, fresh & grey water Tap at the entrance to the field along with Elsan disposal point, not to mention the friendliest most chilled out hens in the north that provide great fresh eggs, which you can purchase in the honesty shop along with tasty treats and everything you’d need plus a Book & DVD library, we had the most peaceful relaxed week and will definitely return when we come back to Lincolnshire. Don’t miss this site, the perfect CL.

Fantastic site

We have just spent a wonderful week at Northolme farm, Sue and Peter were excellent host's and made our stay so enjoyable. Sue is a wonderful cook and presented all new comers with a cream tea, lovely warm scones ,clotted cream and jam and during the week we were again treated to strawberry pavlova's. Like a previous reviewer, we are exited to go back next year to see future developments as they have a few projects to be achieved. So glad we found this amazing site being run by people who care. See you soon Peter and Ian

Fabulous stay

We are new to caravanning and this CL site has made me love it. Sue and Pete were so friendly and helpful and are developing this lovely peaceful spot. I loved the complimentary home made cream tea, the quaint little shop, the peace and quiet, the handful of animals , and the vision they have . We hope to be back soon!

Lovely little CL

Just spent a lovely weekend at Northolme Farm with friends and their caravan. Lovely, friendly owners with being over friendly. Free cream tea, usually on arrival and we can all testify some of the nicest home made scones ever. EHU was reliable, big pitches, honesty shop stocking essentials, small menagerie including geese, chickens, lovely friendly goats and sheep. Owners have some brilliant plans for the future, can’t wait to see them come to fruition. Overall, one of the nicest CLs we have stayed at and all promised a return visit (Didn’t really want to write a good review in case it gets busy and we can’t get booked in for a return visit 🙊)

Super Site

What a fabulous find, very quiet site, Sue and Pete are lovely hosts, Sues scones are amazing. Toilet is spotless, honesty shop has bits you need and eggs from the chickens that roam around the farm. Close to Louth, the fantastic beaches of Lincolnshire and Lincoln is well worth a visit. The CL is in a great area for cycling too. Enjoy your stay
