Ann, Monty and I visited Northolme for three nights from the 18th September. Keith's greeting was brilliant and he helped me set up our motorhome perfectly. The site was extremely well maintained, Pauline and Keith were excellent hosts and its location could not have been better. If you're looking for a CL in this area, I cannot recommend Northolme highly enough.
Attractive and welcoming
We have just returned from 4 nights at the CL. We started our break on weds and as it was not busy Pauline let us arrive mid morning. Keith greeted us helped us get our van level and brought us a welcome cup of tea.
The site has easy access, plenty of space, good clean facilities and is well kept. The fishing lake adds to the ambience of the site as does the views of the neighbouring church or in the opposite direction, the Lincolnshire Wolds. A great site close to the coast, nature reserves and the wolds. Take your bikes and fishing tackle and linger a while!
Home away from home!
Just returned from our second stay and have already booked our third!
Love coming here, always a very warm welcome from Pauline & Keith. Love my cup of tea on arrival! The dogs Dora and Piglet now consider themselves locals and love it just as much. Thanks again for a lovely stay xx
Another fantastic CL
Another return to the Lincolnshire coast and another fantastic CL. Pauline and Keith couldn't be more accommodating at their lovely property.
Loads of room and choice to pitch, easy access, wash block/kitchen, walks for the dog off site (before even considering the miles of deserted beaches available), fishing or just sitting watching the surrounding crops grow. Fab.
Fantastic CL.
Absolutely love this CL. The owners on arrival made us drinks hot and cold and made us feel very very welcome. We cannot wait to go back, this must be our favourite CL. We love it.
Thank you Andy, Senga, Emma and three girls.
Perfect site for us
We could have not got a better welcome than we did from Keith and Pauline.
The site is spacious allowing lots of room between units ( ours is a motorhome)
Electric points are well set out giving scope to position unit in manner desired.
The lake offers good fishing for all skill levels. Some big fish and a large variety. Barbel to 12lb, and Carp to a level I was "smashed" a number of times.
In the evening you can watch Hares running about on the large field and if lucky owls. A peaceful nights sleep was had each of the 6 nights we stayed.
The towel in the wash room was changed each morning and the facilities kept nice and clean.
We are keen walkers and found we could get down to the sea shore with no trouble, but it might be a challenge to those less keen on walking. An ordinance survey map would be beneficial.
We will certainly be back!

Good cl with fishing
We were given a good welcome from the owners and had a choice of pitches close to and overlooking the fishing lake. Plenty of electric points and water tap is behind the building that houses the toilet shower and well laid out washing up area with even a table and chairs. Fishing is quite good and the large field is handy for dog walking. Louth is only 8 miles away with Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes worth a visit.
Very quiet at night just the sound of the owls hooting and you may spot one if lucky.
nice site
very flat open field with lovely surrounding countryside, able to pitch where we wanted and no extra charge for awnings, fishing lake available and toliet and shower. The toliet could have done with having a clean and the towel relaced when dripping wet but overall ok. On the downside you need to use the car to access pubs extra as very isolated but there were takeaways prepared to deliever to the site which is also useful. If you enjoy a bit of fishing then this is the site for you

Northolme
One of the better CLs. Shower, toilet and a kitchen with a playroom come dining room situated in a portacabin near the main house. A very warm welcome from Sandie and her daughter, even if you enter by the wrong entrance. A very spacious CL with a 3 acre almost flat field which Sandie keeps well mown and very tidy. A small orchard has been planted in one corner which will be very nice when mature. Surronded on three sides by typical Liconshire drainage ditches filled with water. Nice views accross the flat countyside, with many visiting birds, hares, rabbits phesants etc. On site fishing in a reasonable sized and mature pond, well stocked with a variety of small silver fish, carp to around 10lb or so, rumours of larger but I can only say from what I caught. There are even some tench and barbel to around 4lb. Almost no one fishing so most times I had the place to myself (and Grandaughters) You can pitch any way round you like with the van and there is no extra charge for awnings. We have only visited twice this year but have plans on returning more often next year.
