Fine!

Having read the recent review "Found lacking", I can only say that we stayed here a year ago - see previous review - and enjoyed it sufficiently to stay here again this year. Yes, it is a simple site - if you want bells and whistles, you'd be better off on a Club site. I am very particular about hygiene and didn't find anything to complain about. I also didn't hear or smell any pigs! I guess the price reflects the local market - it's on the edge of the most expensive part of Norfolk.

Found lacking

Had the most unfriendly welcome in 30 years of caravanning? After being on the road for 6 hours arrived on site to be berated for letting my dog roll in the grass? Told about rules for dogs on site pointedly? This is a working pig farm with all that goes with it,squealing and smelly? The field is level and very good, toilet cleaning is an open hole with a dustbin lid over it, I didn't know weather the smell was from pigs or open hole? No bins just plastic bag? For £14.00 a night not good value for money! Will not go there again unless minimum cleaning requirements are met.

Pleasant Site

A nice level site, kept well mowed. The owners very welcoming. The road to the site very narrow, there are passing places but you pray you do not meet a large tractor. Both nearby villages had nice pubs serving good food, in Binham a good shop that seemed to sell everything you might need. The toilet disposal place was adequate but could have done with a hose pipe. Overall we would definitely go there again .

Would stay again!

Stayed here for a few days over Easter 2014.  Mrs Savory, the owner, popped round the morning after we arrived to collect the money – had a nice chat with her.  Site is easy to get to, electric hookup fine, no toilet/shower - this wasn’t a problem as we use our own shower/toilet.  The CL is very quiet and just a short drive to the coast.  In the nearby village of Wighton is a nice local pub – The Carpenters Arms – which does good food and drink and is definitely worth a visit or two!  We would be very happy to stay here again.

Quiet and tranquil

Nutwood is a lovely well kept, tranquil site and ideally placed to visit the North Norfolk coast. We had a superb 9 day stay and couldn't fault the site. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
