Excellent CL

Stayed for a couple of nights on the way to Cornwall. Spacious and very well equipped CL, almost full service pitches and with a separate loo available for site users, good value for the price. Easily accessed from the M5 and a friendly welcome. Very faint drone from the motorway but didn't keep us awake.

Lovely first impressions.

As we drove into the site my wife said ''What a lovely site'', & how right she was. It was level & far more spacious than the .25 acres as described. There is electricity & drainage to each pitch & with 3 water taps it is almost fully serviced, & all for only £10 per night. For dog owners there is a separate fenced exercise area, & for us humans there is a spotlessly clean toilet. As mentioned by other reviewers there is some motorway noise, but not enough to spoil our stay, & once in the van we heard nothing. Access is easy, only a few minutes from Junction 21 of the M5, & only 5 minutes from Morrisons Mr & Mrs Kemp are lovely people & deserve all credit for a lovely CL.

Excellent site

Thought this site was excellent and we highly recommend.   A huge paddock field that is only slightly sloping with a large vegetable garden that attracted a family of rabbits.  Our children loved having the freedom to run around the site while we could keep an eye on them at all times from our van.  Owner was welcoming and accommodating.   The only minor negatives are that there is some road noise from the M5, though we didn't mind that at all, and that there is no shower facilities.

Cl

Having used this cl last year will be using this cl again super cl lovely welcome on arrival nothing too much trouble could have quite easily have had a week there, handy for us to stop over and visit family. Yes there is a slight noise from the road but not enough to keep you awake.

Halfway stop to Cornwall

A lovely site. Very convenient for the M5. Very warm welcome from the owner. Will be using again as it's a great half way halt for us.

Such a shame

Appeared to be ideal for a 2 night stop over on our way down to Devon to meet the rest of the family. Booked the pitch for 2 nights directly in mid July and all seemed to be OK. On our arrival on 22 August 2013, met by owner who appeared to have totally confused us with some other booking and insisted we had only booked for one night. Initially took our money for 2 nights and then returned £10 saying he had checked, we had only booked one night with his son, the week before our arrival. Couldn't prove otherwise or persuade him we were not the booking he was talking about. We were left with nowhere to go for the 2nd night on a bank holiday weekend. Had to phone round and managed to get in at a commercial site but at much greater cost. Can't recommend this CL. Won't be going there again.

Gem of a C/L

Warm welcome by owner, all ways helpful, Slight traffic noise from M5 but only in background. Many places to visit in area. Dog friendly site, can highly recommend.
