Excellent CL

We only stayed for 2 nights on the way north for Christmas, but what a good choice. Good, accessible hard standing pitches perfect for our motorhome. The horses in the orchard were friendly and the views pleasant. We had a good cycle ride on nice quiet lanes.

Can't wait to return

We have been caravanning for 22 years and this is the 1st C L booking for many years. We booked this site for 4 night we loved it so much we stayed for 5 the owners are so welcoming and helpful we felt right at home. Teddy there dog is a real character and got on really well with Gizmo our dog, and with the horses in the paddock this added to most enjoyable stay thanks Marie and John keep up the good work.

I Don't Believe It

As this is the last year I shall be 59, we splashed out and bought an early birthday present. A new van. We thought of giving it a try out somewhere near home first before we venture further afield. Well I was amazed that such peace & tranquillity could exist still so near to home. I’m probably shooting myself in the foot but for a site to be so close to a motorway network and with a good selection of shops nearby yet when you arrive on this site you’d never know it. It’s like being a million miles from the daily toil and stress of life. Like horses in the next field who are so nosey they have to pop their heads over the fence to say hello to the owners dog Teddy who is a small dog who loves people but isn’t too sure about other dogs though. Bliss, can’t wait to revisit.

Away from it all

Spent three nights here on our way home from Shropshire Easter week.made to feel very welcome by Marie nice and quite site,away from any major roads plenty of footpaths and quite roads for cycling. Have re booked for end of May would recommend this site for a relaxing break.

Great site

Very impressed with this great little site , we have used it twice recently as a stopping off point while travelling south / north on M1 , site is very easy to get to just 2 miles from motorway junction . I would also say it would be good for an extended stay  to explore that area , Owner Marie very welcoming , and you can buy her reasonable priced fresh veg

Great Find on the Door Step

Most impressed,peaceful well maintained site. Owner most helpful. Great for dogs & Walking. Handy shop/garage at the end of the lane. Lutterworth well worth a visit, mixed shops/pubs/eating places. Will be booking a return visit.

Great site

Went there for 12 days in March '14, weather mixed but great site, owner is smashing.  Lot of caravans and motor homes there, nice people on site. Entrance road and road to all pitches great, hard standings small at the moment, but for a new CL very very good for there first year, I'm sure pitches will improve when funds allow. Try it out, everybody there said they would return, I will. Fresh veg as well.

Super CL

Had a great 1 nights stay at this CL. Good hardstanding pitches and a warm welcome. Very friendly owners and very friendly livestock in the adjacent paddock. Found some good walks nearby and had a lovely day at Foxton locks. Enjoyed being woken by the woodpecker

Just Brilliant!

What another gem of a CL! Newly opened in May 2103 and we're glad we found it. Marie couldn't have done more to make us welcome, even the initial email contact was quick, friendly and efficient. Even the horses came to the gate to greet their new neighbours ;-) Close to j20 of M1 and easy to find and access. Generous 16amp hookup, and as others mention with the M1 only 2 miles away there was no noticeable road noise. Highly recommended, we'll be back!
