Exactly what a CL should be!
Stayed for a week at the end of July 2015. Beautiful location, good views a simple CL with no electricity, very little mobile phone signal... just the way it should be!
Looking at the other review I agree the approach road is a little narrow and twisty, but definitely not steep and it is only a short distance of the B road (and the pub). Once on the site a couple of the pitches would be tricky to get to in a 2 wheel drive vehicle if it is wet, but there are hard standings near the gate if this is the case. We arrived in dry conditions and had no problem in my 2wd van and caravan getting onto one of the more 'remote' pitches. Even after heavy rain with a bit of care I could get up there. I was wondering whether I should give a review as it is one of the sites I would want to keep for myself, but when you do the maths of 5 pitches in 3.5 acres and it is never going to get too busy!
