Lovely surroundings and site well maintained. Â Facilities basic but adequate and was told it was a farm toiletbefore arriving. Â Would go back again though.
Peace and tranquility
Just returned from a long weekend. Welcome was very friendly and was shown to our pitch and asked if we needed any assistance. Once in place and awning up again was approached to ask if everything was ok and given recommendations on dog walks and facilities in the area etc. Very friendly without being over bearing. Very peaceful site and stunning views, good walks direct from site and facilities although fairly basic are all that is required. Would definatly recommend to friends.Â
Extremely warm welcome
Loved my 10 days here. Â Plenty of space, excellent dog walking, attractive site. Â Â Facilities fairly basic but that does not worry me. Â I was made very welcome.

Standard review
Isn't it curious how we all carry our own standards around with us when we visit CLs. Don't know if Quarryhill has had a refit (see earlier reviews), but we found the toilet and shower facilities to be in excellent order and quite up to our standards. Sure the buildings are showing the wear and tear of advancing years (as indeed we are). But the slightly chaotic and disorganised appearance of the site we find interestingly romantic. Isolated and no pub in sight? Perfect! Clearly there is no standard CLer. And we are beginning to find our way through the reviews with our non-standard point of view.

Tranquil and friendly site
Just returned from a stay at Quarry Hill, where do I start. Such a tranquil place fabulous surroundings and scenery yes basic toilet and shower but its usable we don't always need top class facilities ( if you want that go to a hotel )Sandy the owner very friendly and helpful site is exceptional clean. We stayed here to visit the game fair at Scones Palace so it was ideally situated for us. Blairgowrie is I a lovely village lovely river walk and quaint shops. We also visited the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve were it is well known for Ospreys nesting and Dunkeld with the Beatrixe Potter experience gardens and more lovely river walks. Overall our first stay in Scotland was fantastic and can't wait to visit again and would HIGHLY recommend Quarry Hill and to add to it all we were very lucky the weather was fabulous also
A great find
Stayed on this site two weekends running, having been recommended by a friend and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Also, being just over an hour away from home was a bonus for us.
Had a very warm welcome from Sandy.
Will use this site again.

Hidden Gem
We have just come back from a 10 night stay at Quarryhill. Such a tranquil site and an ideal base for exploring the area. Would recommend this site and would think about using the site again in the future. Mary was very friendly and was there for any local information that you needed. Great site even though the weather wasn't great
One for the pot!
Stayed one night in May 2012 in our motorhome (7.4m) when the weather was not good so it may 'colour' our review slightly!
LocalPlacesOfInterest: 3 mile West of Blairgowrie; access OK; no pub within easy walking distance that we could find; quite an isolated site.
Site: Gravel HS available; slightly sloping; more than 5 pitches here, but no problem.
Facilities: EHU; water and grey waste; WC and shower - all in need of some TLC. Would we revisit? Yes - and let’s hope the sun shines next time!
