Rhedynog Felen Fawr

had a truly wonderful two weeks staying at Rhwdynog Felen Farm. Em and Esther made us very welcome. The farm is very central for everything we wanted to do and places to visit. The views across the fields to Menai Straight and Anglesey were beautiful. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you both again. With best wishes Kay and Greg Lewis

Enjoyable stay

Warm welcome from helpful owners. Provided with useful map of local walks and cycle rides. Large, well kept field with wonderful views and sunsets. Peaceful. Nearby off road cycle track along disused and partially used Welsh Highland railway brings you right in to the centre of Caernarfon.

Site is lovely and quiet lol odd occasion there is a chinook helicopter flying around but what a great thing to see. Good for getting to other places to visit. Morfa Nefyn gorgeous walk, scenery. Just Perfect 😍

We have just returned from our 14 nights family holiday with our two boys (10 & 8). Stunning views, lots to see and do. Esther & Em were perfect hosts. The site is well-maintained with recycling. We were close to Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. We can recommend Porthor 'whistling sands' for a day out. The site is handy for cycling into Caernarfon and along the Menai Straights. Caernarfon castle is a must-see and the local beach Dinas Dinlle is lovely. Nice walks around Caernarfon Harbour. We managed 2 weeks easily without electric with a solar panel and battery and had no problems at all 😁 We totally recommend this wonderful place and will be back thanks for making our holiday so memorable.

Great Site

Booked for 4 nights and stayed for 6, very tidy site with good views, with good walking and cycling and not too far from the beach. Would definitely stay there again and recommend this site.

Simply lovely!

Large flat field with stunning views, owners that really care about the CL and it's visitors and lots of peace and quiet, for us it is the perfect site. Mr and Mrs Searell made us most welcome and produce a leaflet giving info about the site, local places of interest and even detailed local walks (we can recommend the circular walk to Foryd Bay, beautiful). The ground was very firm despite recent rain - no problem for our campervan. Lots to see and do locally but also the ideal spot to just sit and relax - and the sunsets are amazing! We booked 2 nights as part of a tour of Wales and stayed for 6! Now top of our list of sites to return to!

Peace & quiet

This is a CL at its simplest and most appealing - quiet, great views (especially sunsets), and enjoyable walks straight from the site.  Excellent location, easy to find and a lovely friendly welcome. We have no hesitation in recommending highly.

Excellent simple CL

Just spent 3 nights here as part of a longer tour and found the site to be exactly as described. Plenty of space to pitch and the views are simply breath taking in all directions. Extremely easy for access to Caernarfon and Snowdonia National Park. The site has a simple toilet and handwash basin and due to its' location and construction simply adds to the attraction of this kind of CL. No frills. Would highly recommend this site and would definitely visit again.
