A traditional type of farm CL – like they all used to be years ago – just a field with a tap and a place to empty your loo. The CL is just one field on a working farm with little to distinguish it from other fields apart from it being level in places. It’s a very large field so there are enough level areas for 5 vans. It’s a working farm and there are often sheep on site. There are pretty good views of the surrounding hills. Being such a basic CL it isn’t busy. We were there August bank holiday and had it to ourselves most of the time. This CL is off the beaten track and not near any tourist attraction – so you really feel you’ve got away from it all. We went walking in the Llantysilio mountains which were literally 5 minutes drive from the CL. Moel Morfydd is an easy climb with extensive views.
