Great access to Brecon and surrounding area for walking, cycling or driving

Have spent 4 night here. It is very close to a fairly busy road. You can hear traffic at times. It is a working farm so you do get the usual farm noise which we didn't mind. Lovely donkeys you can visit. There are 2 camping fields either side of the club member part with shared facilities. It was fine for us (June) but I would imagine in school holiday time it could potentially be noisy. We parked up and found the owner later by chance. I don't think they would have checked as somone else was there for the night before getting anyone to pay. Through the second field is access to a quiet road which we used to cycle many places. It is a tight squeeze through the undergrowth, across 2 narrow bridgesmby the lovely waterfall. Well worth it as it saves going back to main road. From Brecon you can cycle along the canal to Talybont stopping at the pub along the way, watching the narrow boats and tasting wonderful icecream by the theatre or the shop you will pass from the campsite to the canal. Best icecream ever! or you can cycle on the road following the Taff's trail number 8 or do a mix of both. There is also easy access to Gurkha walking path as well as many others depending on how fit you are. This was not my favourite campsite partly because of traffic noise and being in a semicircle but that is just a personal thing. However, I loved the access to things and it had everything we needed and was £18 per night. I'm not sure the website mentions the two other fields, given you are backing on to them, I felt they should. Whilst this sounds like a negative review it really isn't, we had the best time there but we didn't spend much time at the site.
