It would have been helpful to have had some instructions as to where to go. Where we were situated we could hear those camping in the adjacent field even though there was a large hedge between us. We couldn’t have had a better place to explore the surrounding area. The walk into Brecon is steady stroll, while the hike up Pen y Fan from the site covers some mileage so pack a flask, sandwiches & the jelly babies. If whisky is your thing then Penderyn distillery is a 20 minute drive away & they sell whiskies, vodka & rum which is on their wed site. The site & surrounding area is very beautiful, we were near a babbling stream which at night laid in bed window open listening to it I found really relaxing. All in all a great stay & we will be back as there is so much to see, walk & hike other than Pen y Fan. So thank you Paula.
