Quiet site by lovely river

We recently stayed 5 nights at this lovely little site. It's on a working farm with easy vehicular access off the main road - the site is down a short drive and, because it's down a slight slope, there is little noise from the road. Each pitch is a hardstanding with electric - fairly flat (our neighbours used chocks but we didn't). There are two loos and two showers - all are basic but clean (and the showers were better than some posher sites!) - as well as water taps and septic waste. The loos are in a little stone building on your right as you face the farmhouse from the drive and the showers are on the corner of the main farmhouse. Water & septic adjacent to the loos. There's bins for general waste as well as recycling. Showers are 50p for 5 minutes which (even with very long hair that takes a while to wash) was more than ample time. The river runs round the site and is very pretty - the best place to look at it is from the two footbridges at the back of the site (across the camping field next to the caravan field, below the main farm house, turn right at the end of the building, follow the narrow path round to the footbridge). Taking the same route, you can access a quiet lane and walk into Brecon (turn left when you get to the lane) or turn right on the lane , go over the stone road bridge then turn left up a footpath on the next bend - this path joins up to the Taff Trail after about 10 - 15 minutes walking. We walked to the visitor centre near Libanus (well worth a visit) as well as various walk up Pen Y Fan and adjacent hills and also into Brecon. We were here to walk so didn't go out to any other attractions. We thought the site was excellent value and very much to our taste. You have to remember it is a working farm - the owners clearly work long hours so may not be there every minute of the day; having said that, we found no problem getting hold of them. Also, being a working farm, you get a few moos from the resident cattle but there was nothing that disturbed us (let's face it, a mooing cow is 10 times better than most town noises!). we both wished we could have stayed longer. TV signal was ok.
