Lovely site. Was a bit concerned when we arrived to see how close it was to the road but it wasn't a big problem as not a huge amount of traffic. It was also contrasted by the beautiful tranquility of the rest of the site. Lovely evening walks around the lake, feeding the fish, watching the birds - wonderful. Site facilities are very good. Separate shower and toilet facilities for men and women, very spacious pitches, lovely friendly welcome and secure gate access. Lots of places to visit nearby. Southwell is definitely worth a visit. We were lucky enough to catch a choral performance in the Minster. Wonderful. It's a fairly new site and everything has been done so well. Well worth a visit.
