Stunning place

Where do I start with this glorious little hidden gem! Firstly, Margaret, the lady who runs the site is just so lovely and welcoming. She asks that you call when you’re about 15 mins away, so she can make sure she can welcome you personally. Located on a working farm, and surrounded by sweet smelling Oilseed rape fields, you enter up a sweeping driveway, and continue on to the rear of the farmhouse. The site itself has a mix of both grass and hard standing pitches, and views across rolling hills. The sheep in the next field were an added bonus and watching the lambs playing in the sunshine is a perfect way to spend the day. There’s no traffic noise at all - the most we heard was a tractor in the distance. This is one of those places you find once in a blue moon. An absolute hidden gem that is so nice you want to tell everyone about, but also keep it a secret for yourself as it’s too nice to share! For £12.50 a night inc elec it’s an absolute bargain. We’ll definitely be back.

Brilliant Cl

We have stayed here many times over the last three years when in the area. A lovely peaceful site. Access from the A19 at Easingwold is easy. The site is always immaculate, and the owners could not be more helpful. Good for a short break or a longer stay. Many of North Yorkshires attractions are within easy reach and York is 30 minutes away. At £9 a night this site is a real bargain.
