If you want to see the New forest and be in easy reach of the coast this site will do you fine. Great walks in the forest are all around you. We loved the woods near Beaulieu with the village a little gem. The walk from the village down stream is a must.  Lymington is a bustling port with ferries to the Isle of Wight if you can afford it! The Marina is an interesting place to walk around and the old Lymington is Quant. Brockenhurst in a nice village with two supermarket stores in the main street or go to Lymington for your main shop if needed.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the vineyard. The Garden Nursery, Shop, and Cafe on site were all very pleasant. Paul the owner was busy bottling wine most days (which you can purchase in the shop) and always had time to chat as with most of the staff on site. Very enjoyable and of course the weather was fantastic... Hot Hot Hot!!
