We have visited this site on a couple of occasions. Booking is very easy thrthe website and deposit or full payment methods are available.
The site has great facilities for a CL with hard standing serviced pitches well spaced and big enough to fit awnings.
Nicola is a great host and makes you wel olme with lots of local knowledge. There are many places to visit around the site and the digital guide is very helpful.
Recently stayed at Skybarn Farm CL and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent on the site. Booking is easy on their website page which shows up to date availability. Deposit can be paid online which is backed up by a confirmation email. A very informative ‘guidebook’ is then forwarded to your phone to browse before your trip begins. Access code to the secure site is received upon balance payment, making the whole process so seamless. Five large hard standing serviced pitches await you. Nicola, the friendly owner, lets you settle in before introducing herself and ensures you have any questions answered. A 2.5 mile private dog walk is great for CL users. Location wise, the CL is easy to find, just off the A46, making it easy to visit Lincoln or Newark. Quite a few pubs are available, several, walkable from the site. There is an information hut on site with leaflets on places to visit, walks, takeaways etc. Luckily we are booked in again in September and already looking forward to it.
Perfect for us as a stop over on our way to Norfolk. Water and electric included on every pitch. Pitches very spacious.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Went out of her way to help us find a place for our return journey, as they were fully booked.
Our dogs loved the dog walks. Just what they needed after a long journey.
Would definitely recommend, and will return here.
Lovely site very well kept. The owners Nicola and Richard are so helpful and thoughtful. During the heat wave they came to the cl and said that if we wanted we could go to their house if we were to hot, how many sites would do that. Thank you agaian for a lovely time. Sue Clarke
This is our second visit to Skybarn and can confirm that the site is still every bit as good as the first visit. The site is absolutely immaculate and in a fabulous setting.
Nicola gave a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and also pooped along to say bye just before departure. For a site with fully serviced pitches the cost is an absolute bargain. An added bonus of the Skybarn app means you can plan visits to the attractions and places of interest in the area.
All in all a 5 star site with 2 star prices.
Well done Nicola and Team We will be back.
brilliant site little road noise but did not bother us.Owner is welcoming and friendly big level pitch easy booking online and very efficient .easy access to lincoln about 15mins.Site set in fields with loads of dog walks and tranquillity
Great cl in a great location, tranquil and peaceful.A very warm welcome awaits on your arrival, the information hut is a great source of advice on the local area. The outstanding part of our stay was the fantastic area to walk your dog, will definitely be going back and can highly recommend to friends and family
Just spent a fabulous 4 days at Skybarn Farm CL. Absolutely everything you’d want at a CL was there: hard standing, tap and waste on each pitch. Lots of space, fabulous outlook over fields, wonderful dog walks.
Nearest pub a fair walk across fields with a short stretch along a road, but worth the effort to get to The Royal Oak.
Visited Lincoln and found the P&R worked well.
Recommend a visit to the Heckington Eight Sail Mill. Great cafe and craft brewery on site.
This is our 5 or 6th visit and again we had a wonderful time.
The site is very well kept and Nicola does all she can to make everyone feel welcome and enjoying their stay.
Following receipt of Nicolas very helpful infomation sheet and we site we, my wife Sue and myself booked an Alpaca treck which was about 16 miles away and had a great time and well worth the reasonable price.
Sky Barn is perfect for walking and for cycling and we rarely used our car for the 9 nights of out stay. The walk down to Auburn goes mainly down tracks over their farm and is worth the walk down to the Royal Oak serving good tasty food.
Whisby Nature reserve is about 2 miles and has lovely quiet walks thro the reserve and the cafe serves a great selection of enjoyable food.
We will be returning next year!
Perfect site for relaxation and country walks, ideal for dogs. Had a wonderful introduction from Nicola, she came to greet us while setting up for 2 nights. Lots of information on hand. Good size pitches and very well looked after. Lovely walks around the owners land, perfect for dog walking. Saw a hare on our 1st walk, had to keep our dogs well under control after that, as they do like to chase anything that moves.
Thank you for a great couple of nights, will definitely be back.
Kathryn, Stephen, Stanley the whippet, Olly the poodle and Winnie the dachshund.
