Just the job...

We are regulars at South Hall Farm with our little club, site is very well kept, always closely mown and very tidy. Hard standings if required or plenty of grass and space surrounded by sheltering trees. Two water points and decent emptying and rubbish facilities. Site is quiet and peaceful and just a short drive away from the village centre with pubs, takeaway, shops, Tesco’s and a magnificent village green. Within easy reach of Clacton, Colchester, Harwich, Brightlingsea etc... what’s not to like?

basic site

the site is large with plenty of room, loads of room between units and you can be quite private. The chem waste was very primitive just a bucket in the ground that took your brethe away as you emptied your loo, plus the tap to rince was a good 20 yards away so a lot of carrying to rince and empty.prices quoted were £11 but we were charged £13 a night which was a lot for such a basic site. and a new pricing sign would be good, doesn't look good to see £11 crossed out £12 crossed out then £13 displayed . Brightling sea is a must to visit and Jaywick a place to avoid.

Nice site

Located 1M from village of Great bentley; easy to find; good access; bit isolated but quiet. Site: HS, basic CL facilities only but nice little site; 1M from 2 pubs (The Plough & Royal Fusilier) - v.cheap beer (£3.55). Overall: Tidy but basic site, nice area, flat! Would re visit if we want to be alone."
