This site may not be every bodies cup of tea but whats not to like. Yes it is hard standing with grey gravel but the upside is no muddy boots from grassy fields. The facilities in the shower and toilets are a little tight for us of a larger proportion but were always very clean. I had not taken in the information about poor TV reception so I had not brought my Sat Box but Mary was more than happy to supply all the required equipment so we didn't miss the Emmerdale and Corry. There were no cost ask for using this equipment and hot water for showers were also free. If you didn't particularly like the Gravel Hard standing there was no real hardship in maneuvering your unit so able to step out onto grass. Whilst there there were 4 other units plus ours and although only 1 toilet and shower never had a problem about use. There was another toilet else where on the site but never found it as I didn't need to use it. My wife and I both love Largs and it was our first visit to the area. We will have no problem returning as it worked very well has a base and Satellite TV as well what more could you ask for.
