Just off the A38, this is very convenient for visiting Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Cheltenham and surrounding areas, and for also going further afield, eg into the Cotswolds or Forest of Dean.
The site has water, waste disposal facility and electric hook-up and despite being a working farm, wasn’t noisy.
Finding the site was slightly confusing as there’s a turning off the drive and the site is straight on; a signpost/arrow would have made things obvious. Also the owner’s property isn’t the building by the site but is down the drive and again a notice would have made this clear. However, there is a sign welcoming you and inviting you to pitch up on arrival and pay the next morning if arriving late.
The owner passed by on horseback the next morning and was very friendly.
All in all this is a fabulous little site and one we definitely hope to re-visit in the future.
Not much to do in the area, rude owner & staff
We were met on arrival by a farm worker who, when we asked about TV reception said, "You're supposed to be camping". The camping field gets very wet and boggy. The hard standing appears to be a bit of roadway near a small barn and the hookup for it is a CEE16 socket dangling from a 13A plug behind a door held closed by a couple of bricks. There are fairly constant comings and goings including police cars to and from the adjacent cottages and what we assume are industrial units as well as farm traffic. There's also noise from the nearby main road. When the owner eventually turned up on horseback he just shouted at us from on high and at a distance indicating he wanted his pitch fee. He subsequently passed disparaging remarks about our unit. Definitely wouldn't go there again.

Good for visiting Tewksbury
This CL.is indeed ideally situated for visiting Tewksbury,Cheltenham & Gloucester, plus all the surrounding villages. It is a very 'orderly' site with well defined pitches and facillities.Good signs and information, about a local pub. It is a well maintained flat grassed area, but no hard standing, surrounded by trees and hedges. The views from this site are limited to mostly farm buildings.
The owners are very welcoming. It is worth noting, however that they are available at the large farmhouse, which isn't the one immediately on view when entering the site, but next door a little further down the drive.
This is a busy working farm, which was very evident when we visited recently during the 'hay making' season,so there was a constant stream of farm tractors passing the CL.site. However,we didn't find this a problem and quite expected some noise when staying on a farm.
The buses run every 15-20mins.from the end of the farm drive.
