Lovely Little CL

Just returned from a lovely few days at this CL. Its worth noting that the final approach to the cl after leaving the main road is narrow with some tight bends, so care is required. the site entrance is wide so no problem entering the site.Richard was also on hand to assist exiting the site when we left. Our pitch number was on the board when we arrived and Alison called later to check everything was ok. The site has level wood-chip pitches which were plenty large enough for our caravan and awning. They are set around a central feature with picnic tables , a nice touch. The village has a friendly pub which serves food. The locals have stalls in their driveways selling, fruit, veg, plants, homemade jams and pickles. the owners also sell their free range farm eggs. Aylsham is only a few miles away and has a Tesco and Budgens, together with an excellent butchers. We found the site quiet and peaceful, just occasional aircraft noise during the day. Facilities were very good and the wet room was clean and tidy. Overall a lovely CL which we would happily return too.

Wonderful place

Super tranquil site.  The owners are very helpful. This is the second time we have been there and we will be back in the future. A bit of care is needed entering and exiting with the van as the lane is quite narrow at that point but the gateway is wide.  (The roads up to the site are absolutely fine). We had help from Richard both arriving and departing, to make sure we were OK.

Very Peaceful

We arrived at the site to find our pitch. It was a delightful peaceful site. All 5 pitches had plenty of room for caravan and awning (ours having an annexe too) The owners were very kind especially in view of my husband being taken ill on the second day and being ambulanced off to hospital. In spite of this and the weather we did manage afterwards to have a relaxing peaceful time. We will be back!

Relaxing stay

We have just spent a week at Spring Meadow with our dog and had a really lovely time. The grass is beautifully kept and the owners welcoming. Fresh eggs are available from their own hens and they have Shetland pony too in the next field. Very quiet and there is field opposite with a mown path to easily take the dog for a quick walk, but also footpaths around fields for longer walks. Lots of places to visit in the area and many dog friendly. We enjoyed a lovely walk around Felbrigg Hall park and the food was good too. Will definitely be booking again.

Another fabulous holiday

3rd time at this delightful site, great site, great welcome as usual from Alison and Richard. Lovely location, peaceful but great base to see the whole area. Really useful shops in North Walsham and Aylsham, great pubs and food locally. Lovely walks near the site and locally especially if you have dogs.  From the moment you drive down the quiet lane to the site, the relaxing holiday begins. Will be back. Alison and Richard are so welcoming, the best!

Lovely rural site

Quiet site in the Norfolk countryside. Lovely area. Good facilities. Be sure to follow the CC directions to access the site as the alternative is very narrow and winding. Local pub does excellent food. We will be back at this site!

Quick Weekend

First time at Spring Meadow but not the last. Our van is store 3 miles from this site so easy drive. Road fairly narrow but with plenty of passing places so no problem. Friendly welcome from Richard and Alison. Facilities were more than adequate and site was very quiet. We had some heavy downpours but site drained well. Van parked on hard standing of woodchip. Good walks directly from site. Plenty of birdlife around site usual tits, finches etc., and also Yellow Hammers, Flycatchers, Woodpeckers & Buzzards. The Banningham Crown is a great pub, good beers and excellent food and only a 10 minute walk from the site. Richard and Alison's home produced eggs are very good. The jam sold at the first house on the right as you turn into Bridge Road is very tasty.

Relaxing

We had a very relaxing two night stay at this peaceful site. The local Crown public house only a twelve minute walk away served very good meals at a reasonable price, but very popular so booking essential.  A brilliant day out was had on the Bure Valley railway to Wroxham and  then a Cruise on the broads very enjoyable. Two days was definitely not enough to fully explore the locality.  The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming always ready with cheery chat and helpful advice on local area. We would really recommend for a peaceful relaxing stay.
