Good location and a decent pub
Stayed twice at this CL, first as a one-night stopover on the way south and more recently for a week's stay. The pub is excellent but best to book a table for Sunday lunch. Good walks from the site starting on the lane to avoid the A5.
The only issue is that you have to be really careful when driving off the CL onto the A5 as it is an almost blind junction with vehicles ignoring the speed limit.
The property has been up for sale for a few years but no sign of it moving, possibly because of family illness.
