As a previous reviewer says, this site is a bit quirky and has hopefully seen better days. Arriving in the dark the owner could not have been more helpful in showing us to our pitch which was some way from the house and chemical disposal, a careful trip in the car was called for! The site is very overgrown in places with rubble and the occasional decaying rail truck but this adds to its uniqueness and definitely attracts the wildlife. There are what seems to be a few units that are permanently occupied which seems strange. The railway although very close was never an issue. Would we stay again? although this is a very cheap site, probably not, there are much better sites in the area
