To say there is some train noise is a real understatement. The trains are fast and very frequent. Coupled with traffic noise from the not to distant M1, the location is anything but tranquil and peaceful! It is a large, messy and uncared for area with a lot of dog poo, rubble in the undergrowth and derelict railway carriages scattered around. There are several long term residents on site and we were surprised that this location was granted CL status by the Caravan Club. Having said this, we stayed for two nights as there are some nice walks in the area, it's near the Grand Union Canal and there are some pretty villages nearby. It's also very cheap at £8.50 per night.
