Booked for 3 days stayed 3 weeks. We picked this site as it seemed to fit our needs and if the weather as we expected turned wet and windy we hadn't too far to go home. Well yes for the first week the weather was very mixed but despite heavy rain showers and one nights gale we just didn't want to leave. We found loads of historic houses and museums to visit in the bad weather and when the sun came out there were plenty of beach and wildlife walks to keep us happy. The best thing though was going back to the peace and quiet of this CL which despite terrible rain at times remained firm under foot. To get back to the site in it's peaceful surroundings and watch the lovely sunsets was so relaxing. Mr and Mrs Irving were lovely hosts giving us a wonderful greeting on arrival and keeping the site lovely and tidy. Thank you so much. A small word of caution if your unit is wider than the average then take care as Watery Lane is narrow and can have cars parked on it, we got past them OK though and our van is 2.17m wide What a lovely place to relax and yes I'm sure we will be back.
