This site is quite the gem. Robert and Jane, the perfect hosts and provided plenty of information regarding things to see and do.
The views from the site towards Pen-y-ghent were simply stunning.
Only 4 Stars for Peace and Tranquillity simply because of some road noise at busy times of the day and the Train Whistle which is sounded every time a train passes on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. However, it really wasn’t a problem and I mention it simply to be completely truthful.
Only 4 stars for Ease of arrival and welcome because again being completely truthful the entrance is rather tight and could prove difficult for the less experienced person towing a Caravan.
There would be 10 stars if it were possible for the absolutely pristine Toilet and Shower facilities. Also, the Clothes Washer and Dryer. Exceptional.
