We had a very pleasant stay at The Tump during a sunny spell towards the end of March. The easy to access site is sloping but we levelled our tourer easily. The ground was fairly dry during our visit so we didn't experience the soft ground and mud that the previous reviewer found. This is a basic grass only CL at the top of a large field with views over the surrounding countryside but has 16amp EHU along with the usual CL water & waste requirements. Pleasant owners who gave us good information on the local eateries etc. and for motorhomers the CL is near a bus stop with regular services throughout the day into Monmouth & Chepstow. The nearest shops & supermarket are 10 minutes drive away in Monmouth.
