We booked this site as our second stop of our holiday. We should have stayed here for 3 nights. However on arrival the site was not what we expected of a caravan club clsite. The position of the site was in a layby at the side of owners house the facilities looked tired and worn the only water tap we could see was beside the Elsa point. It was all hard standing but would struggle to get 5 vans on the site and very little space for awnings. The site is on a road that takes to other houses or as a bypass for the main road which ran behind the houses. The owner was not onsite when we arrived and had difficulty gettongnhold of her. We left a voice mail when we where able to get a phone signal to say would not be staying at the site. She eventually returned our call later in the day and was not happy that we where cancelling our stay as she said how can I fill these nights you have booked. We asked about refunding our deposit which she said at first she was not willing to do as she would loose out on the 3 nights bookings. She was very rude on the phone and was swearing at me. I said I am being very polite to you so please don't swear at me. After a period of discussion and me saying I would contact the caravan club she agreed to refund our money. We certainly would not use or recommed this site to anyone.
